Description:

We’re looking for a Pastry Decorator who turns desserts into works of art — someone who combines precision, patience, and creativity to make every cake, tart, and pastry visually unforgettable. You’ll be responsible for decorating cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other specialty pastries with consistency, elegance, and creativity. You’ll use piping bags, fondant tools, edible paints, and sculpting techniques to bring each design to life. You’ll work with buttercream, royal icing, modeling chocolate, fondant, and airbrushing tools to create textures and effects. You’ll work with buttercream, ganache, fondant, chocolate, and glaze — knowing when to go bold and when to keep it simple. You’ll keep a sharp eye on quality, making sure every product leaving the kitchen meets our visual and structural standards. You’ll also prep ingredients and decorations ahead of time to streamline the decorating process and reduce downtime. You’ll monitor inventory of toppings, sprinkles, piping bags, and tools, restocking and reporting low supplies when needed. You’ll maintain a clean, food-safe work area and handle ingredients with care and precision.

Basic Qualifications:

• Clean and maintain tools like piping tips, spatulas, and airbrush kits for long-term use.
• Take pride in turning baked goods into edible works of art that wow customers every time.
• Handle delicate materials like sugar flowers or sculpted chocolate with care and precision.
• Prepare frostings, glazes, and fillings to the correct consistency, color, and flavor.
• Ensure all decorated items meet visual, structural, and taste quality standards before display or delivery.

Preferred:

• Familiar with food safety practices, allergen handling, and maintaining cleanliness in a bakery environment.
• Knows how to adapt designs for dietary needs, such as gluten-free or vegan orders.
• Enjoys transforming desserts into edible art that brings joy to clients.
• Open to feedback and enthusiastic about continuously improving decoration skills.
• Pays close attention to color harmony, symmetry, and detail in every decoration.
