Description:

We’re seeking a Film Director who can lead projects with vision, discipline, and emotional intelligence — someone who sees film not just as entertainment, but as impact, language, and experience. You’ll be responsible for shaping the overall tone, pacing, and narrative of each project, guiding it from concept to final cut. From the first read to the final cut, you’ll shape the tone, rhythm, and depth of each story with precision and heart. You’ll direct casting, lead rehearsals, and bring out layered performances that feel honest, surprising, and fully human. You’ll collaborate closely with DPs, editors, designers, and producers to ensure your vision stays consistent at every level of production. You’ll actively participate in pre-production, including location scouting, casting, visual referencing, and scheduling. We’ll rely on your leadership during shooting — keeping energy high, focus tight, and quality uncompromised. You’ll work hands-on in pre-production — storyboarding, selecting locations, assembling crew, and aligning artistic departments. In post-production, you’ll oversee editing, color grading, sound design, and scoring to ensure everything clicks in rhythm and tone.

Basic Qualifications:

• Guide actors’ performances to bring characters to life authentically and emotionally.
• Balance storytelling, artistic expression, and production constraints like budget and time.
• Advocate for your vision while respecting the collaborative nature of filmmaking.
• Supervise post-production by working closely with editors, sound designers, VFX artists, and colorists.
• Review and approve shot lists, storyboards, and schedules before each production day.

Preferred:

• Comfortable leading a production crew, coordinating with cinematographers, production designers, and actors.
• Comfortable pitching concepts, securing funding, or working within client or studio guidelines.
• Familiar with directing across genres such as drama, comedy, documentary, or experimental.
• Familiar with working under budget constraints while maintaining creative integrity.
• Enjoys guiding teams toward a unified creative vision from concept to screen.
