Description:

We’re hiring a talented Video Editor to join our remote team and bring engaging, creative videos to life across multiple platforms. You’ll be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into polished videos that align with the brand’s goals and messaging. You’ll collaborate with the content team to understand project requirements and bring their vision to life through high-quality video production. You’ll work on a wide range of video projects, including promotional content, brand storytelling, and social media videos. You’ll collaborate with the marketing team to develop videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns. You’ll create content for social media channels, websites, email campaigns, and promotional videos that resonate with our target audience. You’ll collaborate with other creatives to brainstorm and execute new video concepts and ideas that resonate with viewers. You’ll incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and animations to enhance the storytelling and impact of each video.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay updated with video trends, platform algorithms (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, IG Reels), and viral editing styles.
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for YouTube, social media, ads, and product explainers—aligned with brand tone and audience.
• Adapt your editing style to suit different clients—clean and corporate vs. bold and Gen Z, depending on the brief.
• Incorporate feedback with a flexible mindset—tight turnarounds are common, and clarity is key.
• Keep backup files and export presets handy so work isn’t lost and render time is efficient.

Preferred:

• Familiar with cloud storage and collaboration tools like Google Drive, Frame.io, Dropbox, or Trello.
• Excited to grow into roles like Senior Video Editor, Content Producer, or Creative Lead.
• Enjoys telling stories through visuals and crafting emotionally resonant edits.

You’ll collaborate with other team members to brainstorm and experiment with creative video concepts and innovative ideas. You’ll optimize video content for SEO, ensuring it is discoverable and performs well across search platforms and social media. You’ll track and analyze video performance across platforms, offering insights and suggestions for improving future videos.
