Description:

We’re hiring a Loader Trainee for our night shift — perfect for someone who prefers quiet, steady work and wants to support warehouse flow while the city sleeps. You’ll assist in unloading delivery trucks filled with construction materials like cement, bricks, tools, pipes, and lumber. You’ll learn how to handle loading tasks efficiently while maintaining safety and accuracy in a low-light, low-noise environment. You’ll help with strapping, bracing, and securing shipments inside containers using safety-approved methods. You’ll help stack and wrap pallets, making sure fragile or crushable goods like bread, eggs, or fruit are packed with care. You’ll support keeping aisles and loading docks clear, organized, and hazard-free throughout your shift. You’ll learn how to wrap pallets, stack boxes properly, and secure loads so they travel safely during transport. You’ll be taught how to use shrink wrap, straps, and other materials to secure freight during transit. You’ll rotate between general labor tasks like sweeping, collecting scrap, or assisting with tool movement between teams.

Basic Qualifications:

• Assist with general warehouse tasks like sorting, staging, or cleaning when not actively loading.
• Follow weight limits and stacking guidelines to ensure safe and balanced loads.
• Be mindful of fragile, hazardous, or high-value items that require special handling.
• Assist in wrapping pallets or securing loads with straps, shrink wrap, or other materials.
• Stay focused and alert—especially in noisy or fast-moving environments like loading docks.

Preferred:

• Willing to work in outdoor or indoor loading areas under varying weather or temperature conditions.
• Enjoys hands-on, movement-based work and being part of a results-driven logistics team.
• Thrives in environments where teamwork, strength, and precision are essential to success.
• Follows safety regulations and wears proper protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, boots, and belts.
• Familiar with basic reporting tools or paperwork used to confirm load completion and inventory control.
