Description:

We’re hiring a Dishwasher to keep our kitchen running smoothly, our dishes spotless, and our team supported — perfect for someone who works quickly, stays organized, and takes pride in a clean station. You’ll work at weddings, conferences, private parties, and outdoor events, ensuring all kitchenware and service items are cleaned and ready for use. You’ll ensure every item is sanitized, dried, and restocked to the appropriate station for use during busy service hours. You’ll work closely with line cooks and prep staff to ensure they have the clean tools they need to keep service moving. You’ll keep dish areas, sinks, floor mats, and drains clean and clutter-free at all times. You’ll restock clean items to multiple kitchen and service stations across the hotel, often walking between floors or banquet spaces. You’ll follow safety and sanitation standards even in improvised or limited-space setups. You’ll assist chefs and servers with quick turnarounds between courses or guest waves, keeping the pace steady and cleanware flowing. You’ll rotate between washing, drying, and putting away dishes while also helping with kitchen organization.

Basic Qualifications:

• Restock soap, sanitizer, and paper towel dispensers in the dish area and bathrooms if required.
• Maintain a clean uniform and show up ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff by keeping a steady supply of clean items during busy service.
• Report broken equipment, clogged drains, or other issues to the kitchen supervisor immediately.
• Know that even though you’re behind the scenes, your work keeps everything moving forward.

Preferred:

• Familiar with operating commercial dishwashing machines, including loading, unloading, and proper rack usage.
• Willing to assist with garbage removal, floor cleaning, and equipment wipe-downs during and after service.
• Able to maintain a steady pace during high-volume shifts and peak meal service times.
• Wants to grow into roles like Prep Cook, Line Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor over time.
• Open to helping prep food, portion ingredients, or assist cooks during slow dish periods.

You’ll help track inventory of soaps, sanitizer, gloves, and other cleaning supplies as part of the sanitation team. You’ll support trash disposal, food waste separation, and linen collection in coordination with housekeeping and kitchen staff. You’ll support deep cleaning tasks weekly, including drains, hoods, and storage areas. You’ll maintain a clean uniform and follow basic appearance guidelines as a representative of the kitchen staff. You’ll assist in prepping or portioning cold items occasionally during slower dish periods. You’ll be expected to travel with the team, arrive on time, and represent the company professionally. You’ll rotate shifts that may include early breakfast prep, weekend events, or evening banquets.
