Description:

We’re looking for a Dental Assistant who knows that great dentistry is a team sport — and you’re the MVP behind the scenes. You’ll be the friendly face that greets nervous patients and helps them feel safe before a single tool is picked up. From preparing treatment rooms to handing instruments during procedures, you’ll be an extra set of skilled hands for the dentist. You’ll prepare treatment rooms, sterilize tools, and anticipate every need like a true professional. You’ll keep everything clean, organized, and ready — because great dentistry starts with great preparation. You’ll help patients feel relaxed, even if they “hate the dentist” — challenge accepted. You’ll manage tools, charts, and schedules like a multitasking wizard in scrubs. Your role may not always be in the spotlight, but it’s felt in every smooth procedure and every grateful goodbye. You’ll update charts, track inventory, and ensure every detail is in place behind the scenes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Welcome patients, confirm appointment details, and help ease anxiety by creating a calm, friendly environment in the clinic.
• Help maintain dental equipment such as autoclaves, suction systems, curing lights, and chairs—reporting malfunctions promptly.
• Take intraoral photos and assist in digital scanning when required for treatment planning or case documentation.
• Provide compassionate reassurance to nervous patients, especially children or first-time visitors.
• Disinfect and organize dental tools, equipment, and operatories in accordance with OSHA and infection control protocols.

Preferred:

• Experience assisting dentists during procedures such as cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
• Enjoys working closely with a dentist and clinical team to provide excellent patient care.
• Can calmly manage situations involving anxious patients, children, or medical emergencies.
• Able to prepare and organize dental instruments, trays, and materials before each appointment.
• Able to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment throughout the day.

You’ll monitor supplies and reorder before anyone needs to ask — because you think two steps ahead. You’ll translate dental lingo into plain language, helping patients understand what’s happening and what’s next.
