Description:
We’re hiring a Hotel Front Desk Clerk who understands that hospitality starts the moment someone walks through the door. You’ll greet guests like friends, listen with intention, and handle every request with care and calm. You’ll manage reservations, room assignments, and check-ins with a balance of efficiency and genuine hospitality. You’ll manage check-ins, check-outs, bookings, and billing with grace and attention to detail. You’ll help guests celebrate honeymoons, survive business trips, or just catch a good night’s sleep. You know that a sincere smile, a clean lobby, and a well-timed “How was your trip? You’ll communicate clearly and kindly, both in person and over the phone, solving problems with grace. You’ll work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to make sure guests never have to wait or wonder. You’ll use our booking system to manage reservations, update guest profiles, and keep everything accurate. You’ll listen more than you speak, notice what others miss, and offer help before guests even ask. You’ll coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to make sure every guest experience is seamless.
Basic Qualifications:
- Use booking platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb) and POS systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support emergency procedures such as fire drills, medical incidents, or evacuation coordination as trained.
- Maintain guest privacy and follow all data protection and confidentiality standards.
- Respond quickly to guest requests for extra items (e.g., towels, toiletries) or assistance with in-room equipment.
- Assist with concierge services like booking taxis, recommending restaurants, or printing boarding passes.
Preferred:
- Open to feedback and able to follow standard operating procedures consistently.
- Understands how to resolve guest concerns or escalate issues to management as needed.
- Familiar with basic safety, privacy, and emergency protocols in hospitality settings.
- Experience working at a hotel front desk or in a hospitality role is a plus.
- Able to keep accurate records of transactions, key logs, and incident reports.
