Description:
We’re looking for a Remote HR Coordinator to help drive our HR processes, from recruitment to employee support, in a remote-first environment. You’ll play an essential role in the recruitment process, from posting job openings to coordinating interviews and helping to select top talent. You’ll guide new hires through a smooth onboarding process, ensuring they feel welcomed and well-prepared for their role. You’ll be the go-to for all HR-related inquiries, providing employees with information on policies, benefits, and company practices. You’ll collaborate with management to implement employee engagement strategies, creating a positive and productive work culture. You’ll ensure compliance with labor laws and assist in the implementation of HR policies that reflect best practices. You’ll be an advocate for a positive work environment, facilitating employee engagement and addressing concerns as they arise. You’ll collaborate with the leadership team to help develop and implement employee growth initiatives and performance reviews. You’ll help manage the company’s benefit programs, ensuring employees have the information they need to make informed decisions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Be proactive—flag recurring issues, identify process gaps, and suggest solutions, not just problems.
- Help plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, including virtual events, surveys, or recognition programs.
- Continuously look for ways to improve HR workflows and make remote processes more efficient and human-centric.
- Document internal processes clearly so they can be reused, delegated, or scaled.
- Assist with performance review cycles—sending reminders, tracking submissions, and compiling feedback when needed.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting HR processes such as onboarding, scheduling interviews, or managing documentation.
- Excited to support a growing, remote-first team and ensure smooth HR logistics.
- Willing to follow checklists and help improve workflows over time.
- Pays attention to tone and clarity when writing internal emails or Slack messages.
- Proactive about solving small issues before they become bigger problems.
