We’re looking for a dedicated Online Job Application Assistant to guide clients through the job search process with efficiency and care. You’ll help job seekers find the best opportunities by identifying and recommending job listings that match their skills and goals. You’ll assist with completing online job applications, ensuring every section is filled out accurately and professionally. You’ll support clients in filling out online job applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness for a smooth submission. You’ll track job applications, sending reminders for deadlines, follow-up emails, and ensuring clients stay organized. You’ll research potential employers, gathering insights into company cultures and job requirements to help clients better tailor their applications. You’ll provide advice on personal branding, ensuring clients present themselves effectively across multiple platforms. You’ll provide advice on job search strategies, including effective networking techniques and how to reach out to hiring managers. You’ll ensure clients’ applications are error-free and tailored to each job description, enhancing their chances of getting an interview.
Basic Qualifications:
- Document your process for each client so they can take over independently if needed.
- Treat every application like it matters—because for the client, it really does.
- Draft templates for emails, thank-you notes, or follow-up messages clients can send after applying or interviewing.
- Help clients identify relevant job openings based on their background, career goals, and preferences (e.g., remote, industry, seniority).
- Stay adaptable as job descriptions, requirements, and platforms evolve.
Preferred:
- Able to proofread resumes, cover letters, and written responses for grammar and clarity.
- Knows how to optimize LinkedIn profiles, portfolios, or personal websites for job search visibility.
- Organized and proactive when dealing with multiple job types, deadlines, and application formats.
- Can organize and store documents like cover letters, CVs, and certificates neatly and securely.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating a wide range of online platforms and tools.

You’ll keep track of feedback and make adjustments to the application strategy as needed, ensuring every submission is tailored to the job.
