Description:

We’re looking for an Online Course Assistant who’s equal parts organized, empathetic, and tech-comfortable — someone who can keep a virtual classroom running without breaking a sweat. In this role, you’ll assist instructors by uploading course materials, scheduling content, sharing announcements, and responding to student questions across email, chat, or forums. You don’t need to be a teacher, but you *do* need to care about learning and how people absorb information. You’ll also monitor student engagement, track assignment submissions, and flag participants who may need extra support or reminders. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask without losing focus. You’ll bring structure to the learning process without making it rigid, and your communication style makes people feel at ease. This isn’t just about keeping things on schedule — it’s about creating an online space where students feel supported and instructors feel like they’re not doing it all alone. Whether it’s organizing resources, answering FAQs, or ensuring the course flows smoothly from week to week, your work will have a big impact on student success. Basic Qualifications:

• Help test new course modules before launch to catch typos, broken links, or UX issues.
• Assist with onboarding new students by providing access, welcome messages, and basic tech support.
• Track and report student engagement trends using LMS analytics or custom dashboards.
• Assist in managing online quizzes, exams, or certifications by setting up rules and monitoring activity.
• Gather testimonials, ratings, or success stories from students for marketing purposes.

Preferred:

• Comfortable navigating platforms like Teachable, Thinkific, Moodle, or Google Classroom.
• Reliable with time management and can commit to deadlines or weekly tasks.
• Interest in education, e-learning platforms, or digital course delivery.
• Can proofread or lightly edit content for clarity or grammar as needed.
• Open to collaborating with educators, designers, and other assistants.
