Description:

We’re looking for a Junior QA Tester to join our team and help ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You’ll execute manual test cases and report bugs, helping to ensure that each feature works as intended before release. You’ll assist in creating and maintaining detailed test plans, ensuring all features are thoroughly tested across different devices and platforms. You’ll work closely with the development team to track bugs and verify their resolution, ensuring continuous improvement. You’ll perform manual testing, focusing on functionality, usability, and compatibility, ensuring the software delivers a flawless user experience. You’ll help automate testing processes, creating scripts to enhance efficiency and reduce manual testing time. You’ll assist in maintaining test environments and ensure testing tools and scripts are up-to-date. You’ll work closely with the product team to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Balance speed and detail—test thoroughly but efficiently, especially in fast-paced environments.
• Assist in writing simple automated tests (if you’re learning tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright).
• Report bugs clearly and concisely in tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp—attaching screenshots, steps to reproduce, and expected vs actual results.
• Retest fixed bugs and verify they no longer occur—closing the feedback loop with clarity.
• Follow test plans and checklists, but also think critically and explore edge cases that automated tools might miss.
