Description:

We’re hiring a Security Guard Trainee for a residential complex — ideal for someone who’s polite, observant, and ready to keep tenants feeling safe and supported around the clock. You’ll begin by shadowing experienced guards to understand patrol routes, entry procedures, and incident response protocols. You’ll be trained to monitor surveillance systems in low-traffic periods, watching for suspicious movement or activity after hours. You’ll support emergency procedures including guiding people to exits, helping with evacuations, and alerting supervisors if issues arise. You’ll support lost-and-found services, helping reunite customers with lost belongings or assisting distressed visitors. You’ll help maintain a friendly, authoritative presence near food courts, escalators, and store entrances. You’ll assist in reuniting lost guests with their groups and managing minor disputes or confusion in the crowd. You’ll support emergency response procedures, including evacuations, fire protocols, or calling authorities if necessary. You’ll receive instruction on fire alarm procedures, evacuation protocols, and how to guide residents safely in emergencies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Adapt quickly to new sites, protocols, or technologies as required by the job.
• Write clear incident reports and maintain accurate daily activity logs.
• Attend training sessions to stay updated on safety standards and security best practices.
• Respond diplomatically but firmly when confronting suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Deter theft, vandalism, or unsafe behavior through a visible and professional presence.

• Understands the balance between enforcing rules and maintaining a calm, welcoming presence.
• Organized with shift handovers, key logs, visitor logs, and equipment tracking.
• Capable of collaborating with law enforcement or emergency responders when needed.
