Description:
We’re looking for an organized, tech-savvy Online Course Assistant to help manage and support the daily operations of our digital learning programs. You’ll work hand-in-hand with instructors to make sure every course module is published on time, every student question gets answered, and no one feels left behind. You’ll ensure all course elements run smoothly — from maintaining clean, updated modules to helping troubleshoot login or access issues. You’ll make sure deadlines are clear, content is accessible, and no one gets lost in the shuffle. If your idea of satisfaction is seeing a confused learner finally *get it*, you’re exactly who we need. You’ll bring structure to the learning process without making it rigid, and your communication style makes people feel at ease. You’ll also monitor student progress and flag anyone who might be falling behind so we can step in early. You’re adaptable, detail-obsessed, and always two steps ahead. You don’t need to know every learning platform out there, but you’re quick to figure things out and resourceful when answers aren’t obvious.
Basic Qualifications:
- Organize student queries or support tickets by category to streamline resolution.
- Support instructors in grading by organizing submissions or pre-checking criteria (if permitted).
- Be present in discussions to keep momentum going and encourage thoughtful participation.
- Help test new course modules before launch to catch typos, broken links, or UX issues.
- Assist with onboarding new students by providing access, welcome messages, and basic tech support.
Preferred:
- Can help organize feedback from students or track their progress and engagement.
- Willing to support quizzes, file uploads, or video lectures by ensuring everything is in place.
- Enjoys helping others stay organized, on track, and motivated through digital tools.
- Takes feedback well and applies it to improve workflows and communication.
- Reliable with time management and can commit to deadlines or weekly tasks.
