Description:
We’re looking for a highly organized Logistics Coordinator who thrives on keeping things running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for coordinating the flow of materials from suppliers to warehouses, and from warehouses to customers. You’ll collaborate with multiple teams, including suppliers, transportation partners, and internal stakeholders, to optimize logistics operations. You’ll update records, handle logistics software, and make sure everything stays accurate and current. You’ll monitor and evaluate the efficiency of the logistics process, making recommendations for improvements to reduce costs and increase speed. You’ll ensure that all shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for transportation to meet safety and regulatory requirements. Whether it’s tracking a shipment or fixing a supply issue on the fly, you’re always a step ahead. You love spreadsheets, but you also know when a quick phone call gets results faster. You’ll monitor and evaluate logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
- Work with freight forwarders, courier services, or 3PL providers to compare rates, arrange transportation, and manage logistics costs.
- Keep digital files organized, backup records secure, and processes well-documented for training and handoffs.
- Maintain records of shipping data, delivery confirmations, and carrier performance for analysis and auditing.
- Stay in contact with carriers or warehouse personnel to proactively address traffic delays, labor shortages, or weather-related disruptions.
- Balance speed, cost, and quality across shipping decisions to meet business goals and customer satisfaction.
Preferred:
- Can resolve delivery issues, delays, or damaged goods efficiently and professionally.
- Willing to update reports, dashboards, or shipment records on a daily or weekly basis.
- Experience coordinating shipments, deliveries, or inventory across vendors or locations.
- Comfortable handling shipping paperwork such as invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Understands the basics of supply chain processes including procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
Benefits:
- Team rituals include daily ops check-ins, weekly wins, and monthly “how did *that* get delivered?” stories.
- If you love tracking things down, building clear flows, and being the behind-the-scenes hero — welcome aboard.
- You’ll work on domestic and international logistics, inventory flow, and last-mile problem-solving.
- Access to platforms like ShipStation, Flexport, Excel, Slack, Airtable, and live tracking dashboards.
- You’ll learn how to balance speed, cost, and customer satisfaction like a pro.
You’ll resolve shipping and inventory issues, working with suppliers and customers to find quick and effective solutions. You’ll coordinate with customers and vendors to confirm delivery schedules, ensuring that expectations are met in a timely manner. You’ll stay informed about regulatory requirements and ensure that all logistics operations comply with industry standards and legal guidelines. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs and ensure that stock is replenished in a timely manner. You’ll help forecast supply needs and ensure we never run out or overstock unnecessarily. This remote role offers flexibility, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to smooth logistics operations. If you’re passionate about logistics, problem-solving, and optimizing operations, we want you on our team. If the words “on time” and “under budget” make you smile, you’ll love it here.
