Description:

We’re hiring a Caregiver to provide compassionate, dependable support to individuals who need daily assistance — perfect for someone who’s patient, attentive, and driven by the desire to help others live with dignity. You’ll assist clients with everyday tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, always with sensitivity and respect for their independence. You’ll help with evening routines such as changing into sleepwear, medication reminders, and settling into bed peacefully. You’ll work alongside nurses, hospice teams, and family members to honor the individual’s wishes and care plan. You’ll support light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up to maintain a safe and clean living environment. You’ll be trained to recognize signs of pain, restlessness, or decline and respond promptly with grace and alertness. You’ll collaborate with parents, therapists, and educators to maintain consistency and reinforce goals from home to school. You’ll rotate shifts that include quiet overnight presence, daytime care, or support during family visitation hours. You’ll be trained in fall prevention, nighttime mobility support, and gentle repositioning techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

• Maintain a calm, caring presence—even on difficult or emotionally draining days.
• Stay informed on best practices in caregiving, dementia support, or special needs assistance.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities if transportation is needed.
• Go the extra mile, whether that’s remembering a favorite meal or just sitting and listening.
• Ensure a safe living environment by preventing falls, hazards, or medication mismanagement.

Preferred:

• Understands how to respond to emergencies calmly and notify family members or supervisors promptly.
• Willing to perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean living environment.
• Experience providing personal care, companionship, or assistance with daily living activities for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or patients recovering from illness.
• Willing to provide end-of-life care with compassion, presence, and dignity when required.
• Comfortable using home care documentation tools or apps for shift updates and reporting.
