Description:

We’re hiring a Financial Analyst Trainee who’s eager to turn data into insight and numbers into strategy — no experience required, just strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and attention to detail. You’ll help collect financial data, organize reports, and assist in preparing dashboards used by key stakeholders. We’ll teach you how to build and maintain financial models that support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. You’ll learn to create reports that balance detail with clarity — built to help people act, not just read. Expect to build models that simulate different business outcomes and support “what if” decision-making. You’ll be introduced to budgeting cycles, forecasting methods, and real-time financial monitoring tools. You’ll work with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and modern BI platforms like Tableau or Power BI. You’ll gain an understanding of how financial decisions affect operations, growth, and long-term company goals. You’ll also gain exposure to investor updates, board decks, and internal KPI reviews. We’ll introduce you to the key terms and tools used in business finance, even if you’re starting from scratch.

Basic Qualifications:

• Translate numbers into insights—your job is more than spreadsheets, it’s storytelling with data.
• Stay updated on GAAP standards, regulatory changes, and internal financial policies.
• Use Excel, Power BI, or tools like Tableau, Looker, or Python to analyze and visualize data.
• Identify red flags early by reviewing cash flow, burn rate, or debt ratios regularly.
• Track market trends, competitor performance, and economic shifts to provide context in recommendations.

Preferred:

• Willing to research industry benchmarks, competitor data, and macroeconomic trends.
• Understands key performance indicators (KPIs), ROI, and profitability analysis for decision support.
• Can support due diligence, risk analysis, and market research for strategic planning.
• Able to interpret data trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Comfortable supporting investment decisions, cost analysis, or product pricing strategies.
