Description:

We’re hiring a Paramedic Trainee who’s ready to learn how to respond quickly, think clearly, and act compassionately in emergency medical situations. You’ll assist with setting up first aid stations and prepping mobile response gear before gates open to the public. You’ll shadow experienced paramedics as they patrol venues, staying visible, calm, and ready for any on-site medical need. You’ll be taught how to help establish field care zones, prioritize patients, and support paramedics during mass-casualty triage. You’ll learn how to monitor patients during transit, recording vitals, comfort levels, and any changes in condition. You’ll observe how to manage patients inside moving vehicles over rough terrain or under poor weather conditions. You’ll be trained to spot early signs of medical distress in crowds, such as dehydration, intoxication, or anxiety. You’ll be part of a calm but focused environment where precision, compassion, and professionalism define the experience. You’ll observe how to maintain calm body language and reassuring tone even when spectators are tense or panicked.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be the calm in the chaos—someone people trust in their most vulnerable moments.
• Support disaster relief efforts, mass casualty events, or community outreach programs if required.
• Remain flexible and alert throughout unpredictable, high-intensity shifts.
• Make split-second decisions in high-pressure situations with a calm and focused mindset.
• Keep certifications like CPR, ACLS, and PHTLS current through regular training and education.

Preferred:

• Thrives in unpredictable, high-stakes environments where readiness and skill save lives.
• Pays close attention to symptoms, injury mechanisms, and situational awareness while on scene.
• Can educate patients and family members about care steps or post-discharge instructions when appropriate.
• Experienced in working collaboratively with firefighters, police, and emergency room personnel.
• Knows how to safely lift and transport patients using stretchers, backboards, and proper body mechanics.
