Description:

We’re looking for a proactive and friendly Discord Moderator to join our team and help maintain a positive atmosphere in our community. You’ll be responsible for monitoring interactions, enforcing server rules, and making sure all members feel safe and valued. You’ll assist in moderating conversations, identifying disruptive behavior, and addressing any issues to maintain a safe environment. You’ll collaborate with other moderators to resolve conflicts, mediate disputes, and ensure that all community guidelines are followed. You’ll monitor chat activity to ensure that conversations stay on-topic and that members are following the community guidelines. You’ll assist in creating and enforcing server rules and guidelines to ensure a safe space for all members. You’ll be responsible for onboarding new members, answering questions, and guiding them on how to navigate the server. You’ll address user concerns and provide assistance as needed, helping to resolve issues quickly and fairly.

Basic Qualifications:

• Answer member questions, resolve minor conflicts, and create a friendly, inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.
• Report serious incidents or repeat offenders to server admins with detailed logs and context.
• Use discretion when handling sensitive situations—don’t overshare bans, DMs, or user reports with the public.
• Be available during assigned shifts or check-ins to ensure consistent moderation coverage across time zones.
• Ultimately, help make the server a safe, fun, and thriving place where people want to return—not just visit.

Preferred:

• Organized and responsive, especially when it comes to scheduled shifts or task reminders.
• Willing to learn how to use moderation tools like MEE6, Dyno, or Carl-bot.
• Excited to grow into more responsibility as they gain experience.
• Can follow instructions and communicate well with other moderators or team leads.
• Understands the importance of respectful communication and positive community culture.
