Description:

We’re looking for a YouTube Shorts Manager who understands what makes people stop scrolling and start watching. This role is all about creating fast-paced, engaging content that stops the scroll and drives views on YouTube’s Shorts platform. You’ll be in charge of brainstorming, producing, and editing Shorts that showcase our brand in a fun, creative way. YouTube Shorts is all about timing, energy, and relevance — and you’ll need to deliver all three consistently. You’ll work closely with our marketing and content teams to ensure our messaging is always sharp, fun, and trend-aligned. You'll be working with a small, agile team, so we need someone who can move fast, adapt quickly, and wear multiple hats. Speed is key — YouTube Shorts thrive on trends, and we need someone who can jump on them quickly without compromising on creativity.

Basic Qualifications:

• Test different types of Shorts—educational, funny, visual storytelling, tips, challenges—and learn what sticks.
• Manage video assets, B-roll libraries, and past Shorts for easy reuse or re-editing when needed.
• Collaborate with design and motion graphics for dynamic overlays, transitions, or CTA animations.
• Repurpose long-form content into Shorts, extracting highlight moments or key insights.
• Analyze audience demographics and adjust style or pacing to match what's resonating.

Preferred:

• Knows how to craft effective hooks in the first 3 seconds to boost viewer retention.
• Experience writing compelling titles, descriptions, and choosing strong thumbnails when needed.
• Passionate about digital storytelling and growing audiences through short-form video.
• Has managed or contributed to a YouTube channel with consistent content uploads.
• Understands how to repurpose long-form YouTube content into Shorts.
