Description:

We’re hiring an Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial environments — perfect for someone who’s precise, safety-focused, and skilled with tools and wiring. You’ll perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs in offices, retail centers, schools, hotels, and multi-use properties. You’ll read and interpret industrial blueprints, electrical schematics, PLC diagrams, and system layouts to perform your work accurately. You’ll be on-call for shifts that may include nights, weekends, or holidays, depending on rotation and client contracts. You’ll inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment such as transformers, switchgear, pumps, compressors, and control panels. You’ll communicate clearly with clients under stress, explaining the issue, risks, and repair plan in a calm, professional tone. You’ll follow strict safety procedures and know when to isolate power, shut off circuits, or call in backup for major hazards. You’ll document each job thoroughly, including time of arrival, actions taken, materials used, and photos of damage and resolution. You’ll perform panel upgrades, install subpanels, and configure circuits for HVAC, EV chargers, or home offices.

Basic Qualifications:

• Understand and install energy-efficient systems such as LED lighting or solar components.
• Dispose of scrap materials responsibly and keep job sites clean and organized.
• Install and configure smart home devices, generators, or backup power systems if required.
• Use power tools and hand tools with precision to cut, strip, and terminate wires cleanly.
• Prepare job estimates, material lists, or reports for supervisors or clients.

Preferred:

• Capable of conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and upgrades to existing systems.
• Skilled in working with conduit, circuit breakers, outlets, lighting systems, and control panels.
• Capable of working independently or within a larger construction or facilities maintenance team.
• Comfortable training or mentoring apprentices and junior technicians on job safety and wiring standards.
• Familiar with installing new electrical infrastructure during renovations or new construction projects.

You’ll be expected to work in wet, dark, hot, or confined conditions, sometimes with limited information and time pressure. You’ll follow all safety protocols for live work, lockout/tagout, confined space access, and public area precautions. You’ll rotate between rough-ins, finish installs, inspections, and maintenance work depending on the project stage. You’ll rotate between regular shifts, emergency calls, and after-hours coverage based on building requirements. You’ll be expected to climb ladders, access electrical rooms, and work in hot, loud, or confined environments. You’ll receive support from senior techs and industrial supervisors who will mentor your work on advanced systems. You’ll stay current with local building codes, commercial-grade materials, and modern lighting systems.
