Description:

We’re hiring a Painter to help transform residential and commercial spaces with precision, care, and a steady hand — perfect for someone who enjoys visual results and takes pride in a clean finish. You’ll prep and paint exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers depending on the material and access method. You’ll work on ladders, scaffolding, or suspended platforms, always following safety procedures for height and fall protection. You’ll clean, scrape, sandblast, or pressure wash surfaces to remove dirt, peeling paint, and mildew before applying coatings. You’ll help set up and break down containment areas, scaffolding, and ventilation systems before and after each job. You’ll help mix paint to match specified colors and maintain consistency across large surfaces and multi-day projects. You’ll perform touch-ups, re-coats, and spot repairs for scratches, dents, or uneven surfaces after inspection. You’ll be trained to work on both interior and exterior surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and siding. You’ll rotate between residential homes, offices, retail spaces, and renovation sites based on the project schedule.

Basic Qualifications:

• Operate lifts or extension poles for high-reach areas while maintaining balance and safety.
• Clean tools and work areas thoroughly after each job to maintain professional standards.
• Inspect completed work for touch-ups or inconsistencies and make adjustments as needed.
• Apply specialty finishes such as faux textures, murals, or waterproof coatings when needed.
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, or coatings to walls, ceilings, furniture, and exterior surfaces.

Preferred:

• Can provide excellent results on both rough and fine-finish painting tasks.
• Understands how to apply stains, sealants, or specialty finishes to wood, metal, or concrete surfaces.
• Able to follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and handle chemicals like solvents or strippers responsibly.
• Familiar with preparing surfaces through sanding, scraping, patching, priming, or power washing.
• Open to seasonal or weather-dependent work including exterior painting and surface prep.

You’ll be trained in proper PPE use, respirator care, and handling of solvents and exterior-grade materials. You’ll assist with transporting paint, ladders, tape, and drop cloths from site to site using company vehicles or your own. You’ll receive training on new equipment, coating systems, and surface preparation methods. You’ll work under the guidance of a lead painter or foreman, and collaborate with other trades for maximum efficiency. You’ll be expected to follow lockout/tagout procedures and understand MSDS sheets for all materials used. You’ll represent the company with professionalism and discretion while working in luxury environments. Experience in decorative or traditional painting is a plus, but we’ll train creative, careful candidates with a passion for interior beauty.
