Description:

We’re hiring a UX/UI Designer Trainee to help us design landing pages and marketing sites — no experience required, just a sense of layout, structure, and clarity in visual communication. You’ll work alongside product designers and researchers to understand real user behavior and turn insights into better interfaces. We’ll teach you how to use Figma like a pro: components, auto layout, grids, and prototyping. You’ll learn how to take user stories or raw wireframes and turn them into clean, usable, and consistent designs. You’ll learn the basics of information architecture, user journeys, and how to map out what people really do — not just what they say. We’ll guide you through copy + layout pairing — how to support a message visually without overwhelming the page. You’ll also work with designers, writers, and marketers to keep each section clean, punchy, and user-focused. You’ll use Figma and FigJam daily, learning how to keep files clean, flows logical, and handoffs smooth. We’ll show you how to stay lightweight in your process: rapid iterations, lo-fi testing, and clear design decisions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be the champion of user-centered design on your team—question assumptions, push for clarity.
• Be open to scrapping work if testing shows it’s not working—iteration is part of the job.
• Use tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to bring interfaces to life from rough drafts to pixel-perfect screens.
• Support handoff by exporting assets, writing documentation, and checking final builds for quality.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate assumptions and improve designs.

Preferred:

• Values empathy, clarity, and functionality in digital experiences.
• Wants to grow into roles like Product Designer, UX Researcher, or Design Lead.
• Open to user interviews, surveys, or journey mapping to better understand pain points.
• Familiar with basic HTML/CSS or front-end development concepts is a plus.
• Able to create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups that align with business goals and user needs.
