Description:

We’re looking for a highly organized Logistics Coordinator who thrives on keeping things running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for coordinating the flow of materials from suppliers to warehouses, and from warehouses to customers. You’ll collaborate with suppliers, transportation companies, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and prevent delays. From warehouses to delivery routes, you’ll know what’s going where and when. You’ll assist in managing shipping schedules, working with third-party providers to ensure that all orders are fulfilled within the agreed timeframe. You thrive under pressure and handle last-minute changes with a calm, solutions-first mindset. You’ll track and resolve any shipping issues, working with relevant stakeholders to address delays or discrepancies. You’ll assist with forecasting inventory needs, ensuring that materials are ordered in advance to meet production schedules. You’ll monitor and evaluate logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:

• Keep digital files organized, backup records secure, and processes well-documented for training and handoffs.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding shipment ETAs, changes, or issues—maintaining professionalism and transparency.
• Work with freight forwarders, courier services, or 3PL providers to compare rates, arrange transportation, and manage logistics costs.
• Balance speed, cost, and quality across shipping decisions to meet business goals and customer satisfaction.
• Stay in contact with carriers or warehouse personnel to proactively address traffic delays, labor shortages, or weather-related disruptions.

Preferred:

• Pays close attention to details like delivery dates, tracking numbers, and documentation accuracy.
• Knows how to optimize shipping routes, carriers, or vendors based on cost and timing.
• Can resolve delivery issues, delays, or damaged goods efficiently and professionally.
• Understands the basics of supply chain processes including procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
• Familiar with both domestic and international shipping practices is a plus.
