Description:

We’re hiring a Manual QA Tester to help us deliver smooth, bug-free mobile experiences — someone who tests like a real user, spots flaws early, and understands that small glitches can ruin big moments. You’ll test mobile apps across iOS and Android devices, verifying that every screen, gesture, and interaction works as intended. You’ll test new features, identify issues, and help keep our releases smooth, stable, and stress-free for users. You’ll follow test plans, run checklists, and use your instincts to go beyond the obvious paths and find hidden problems. ” You’ll write clear, reproducible bug reports and maintain accurate test logs to support ongoing development. You’ll help test in different environments, screen sizes, browsers, and devices to ensure coverage across platforms. You’ll document bugs clearly — with steps, screenshots, and expected vs. actual behavior — so they’re easy to reproduce and fix. You’ll test across multiple builds, log environments, and work within sprint cycles to deliver fast, stable releases. You’ll support UX teams by flagging rough spots, unclear labels, or inconsistent behaviors even when technically “nothing’s broken.

Basic Qualifications:

• Validate UI/UX consistency, checking layout, alignment, and responsiveness by eye and intuition.
• Collaborate with automated QA or DevOps teams to complement coverage and improve testing strategy.
• Keep notes on known issues, tricky flows, or feature quirks for the team’s collective memory.
• Work with tools like Jira, TestRail, ClickUp, or spreadsheets to manage your QA workflow.
• Test across browsers, devices, and operating systems to ensure consistency and compatibility.

Preferred:

• Experience performing manual testing on web, mobile, or desktop applications across different platforms and browsers.
• Pays attention to UI/UX details, layout consistency, and basic functionality during exploratory testing.
• Familiar with test case management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray is a plus.
• Able to write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports using tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
• Willing to document steps, gather screenshots/videos, and collaborate with developers to isolate issues.
