Description:

We’re hiring a Night Shift Security Guard Trainee for someone who’s alert, calm, and comfortable working independently during quiet hours. You’ll begin by assisting with entry point monitoring — checking tickets, wristbands, and personal belongings according to event policy. You’ll be trained to monitor entrances, exits, and surveillance systems, watching for any unusual or unauthorized activity. You’ll assist in locking and unlocking doors according to the evening schedule, ensuring the facility is properly secured. You’ll help secure backstage zones, VIP areas, or equipment tents where access must be strictly controlled. You’ll learn how to recognize signs of unauthorized entry, property damage, or suspicious activity and report them promptly. You’ll assist in monitoring noise complaints, elevator issues, or package theft reports with calm professionalism. You’ll assist in crowd control, helping maintain order during events, busy periods, or emergencies. You’ll receive instruction on fire alarm procedures, evacuation protocols, and how to guide residents safely in emergencies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and fences to ensure they’re properly secured.
• Write clear incident reports and maintain accurate daily activity logs.
• Attend training sessions to stay updated on safety standards and security best practices.
• Monitor premises through regular patrols, security cameras, and access points to ensure safety and order.
• Stay alert during long or overnight shifts, maintaining full awareness of surroundings.

Preferred:

• Able to enforce property rules, check visitor IDs, and respond to unauthorized access attempts professionally.
• Comfortable writing shift reports, incident logs, and communicating clearly with supervisors or emergency services.
• Understands basic conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
• Organized with shift handovers, key logs, visitor logs, and equipment tracking.
• Background or interest in safety, law enforcement, military, or public service.
