We’re looking for a Freelance Resume Writer who can listen, interpret, and transform a client’s experience into job-winning language. You’ll collaborate with job seekers across different industries, helping them tell their story in a way that resonates with recruiters. You’ll work with clients one-on-one to uncover their accomplishments and frame them in the strongest light. You’ll take raw input — sometimes voice notes, old resumes, or scattered thoughts — and build clean, strategic documents from scratch. You know how to write for both humans and algorithms, balancing clarity with ATS-optimized formatting. You’ll receive briefs or raw materials and turn them into professional, polished resumes ready for today’s job market. Your work won’t just help people get interviews — it’ll help them feel more confident about their careers. You understand that a great resume is part psychology, part storytelling, and part formatting wizardry. If you’ve ever reworked someone’s resume just because you couldn’t stand to see them undersell themselves — this is your calling.

Basic Qualifications:

• Design clean, modern layouts that enhance readability without overwhelming ATS systems (using Word, Google Docs, Canva, etc.).
• Offer packages or upsells (e.g., resume + LinkedIn bundle) to support clients beyond just one document.
• Edit and restructure outdated resumes, turning messy job lists into strategic, results-oriented narratives.
• Create templates or process docs to streamline intake, drafts, and delivery as your workload grows.
• Collaborate with clients to define a strong personal brand, refining tone and positioning across resume and related docs.

Preferred:

• Comfortable interviewing clients to gather career history, goals, and unique value.
• Values confidentiality, accuracy, and empathy in working with job seekers.
• Interested in long-term freelance work or growing into a personal branding specialist.
