Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Discord Moderator to join our team and help manage our growing online community. You’ll be responsible for monitoring chat activity, ensuring users are following the community guidelines and fostering healthy discussions. You’ll help resolve conflicts, mediate disputes, and ensure that members feel comfortable engaging within the community. You’ll help organize and moderate events such as discussions, Q&As, and community activities, keeping the server active and engaging. You’ll help resolve conflicts, mediate disputes, and provide support to users in need, ensuring smooth interactions. You’ll assist in creating and enforcing server rules and guidelines to ensure a safe space for all members. You’ll be responsible for onboarding new members, answering questions, and guiding them on how to navigate the server. You’ll assist with new member onboarding, providing guidance and information about server rules and resources.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use slowmode, lockdowns, or channel-specific permissions when needed to control chaos during raids or drama.
• Tag the right roles, use bot commands correctly, and maintain clarity in mod-logs and moderation actions.
• Warn, mute, kick, or ban users when necessary to address spam, harassment, or other rule violations—using moderation tools like Dyno, Carl-bot, or MEE6.
• Ultimately, help make the server a safe, fun, and thriving place where people want to return—not just visit.
• Participate in mod meetings, contribute to rule updates, and stay aligned with the overall tone and goals of the community.

Preferred:

• Open to learning how to mute, warn, or report users who violate guidelines.
• Enjoys being part of a team and working behind the scenes to help things run smoothly.
• Can follow instructions and communicate well with other moderators or team leads.
• Willing to learn how to use moderation tools like MEE6, Dyno, or Carl-bot.
• Can keep discussions on-topic and redirect conversations when needed.

You’ll stay up-to-date with trends and updates within Discord, implementing new features and tools to enhance the community experience. You’ll work collaboratively with team members, helping to improve the overall community experience through effective communication and moderation.
