Description:

We’re looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our remote team and help produce visually stunning content. You’ll be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into polished videos that align with the brand’s goals and messaging. You’ll collaborate with the content team to develop ideas and implement creative strategies to meet business and marketing objectives. You’ll add creative effects, transitions, audio, and graphics to enhance the overall quality and impact of the video content. You’ll collaborate with the marketing team to develop videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns. You’ll help create video content for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, optimizing each video for the platform’s audience. You’ll add motion graphics, transitions, and text overlays to create visually compelling videos that capture the audience’s attention. You’ll manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising on quality.

Basic Qualifications:

• Adapt your editing style to suit different clients—clean and corporate vs. bold and Gen Z, depending on the brief.
• Edit short- and long-form content with equal skill, adapting storytelling for different formats and attention spans.
• Incorporate feedback with a flexible mindset—tight turnarounds are common, and clarity is key.
• Use software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut—whatever fits your workflow and client needs.
• Keep backup files and export presets handy so work isn’t lost and render time is efficient.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in film, media, digital marketing, or content creation.
• Comfortable working with vertical and horizontal formats across multiple platforms.
• Knows how to compress and export videos for optimal quality and speed.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• Thrives in a remote-first, creative, and feedback-friendly team environment.
