Description:

We’re hiring a Caregiver to provide daily support to elderly clients — ideal for someone who values patience, dignity, and helping seniors maintain independence and comfort at home. You’ll assist with daily routines such as dressing, hygiene, feeding, and transitions between activities, tailored to each child’s abilities and preferences. You’ll prepare simple meals, help with feeding if needed, and ensure proper hydration and dietary routines are followed. You’ll stay alert throughout the night, ready to respond to calls, movement, or signs of discomfort. You’ll help children navigate social interactions, emotional regulation, and frustration using calming techniques and praise. You’ll provide companionship through conversation, games, walks, or simply sitting together during quiet moments. You’ll provide steady companionship through listening, reminiscing, watching TV together, or reading aloud. You’ll offer reassurance or redirection to clients who wake up confused, disoriented, or frightened in the dark. You’ll be trained in fall prevention, nighttime mobility support, and gentle repositioning techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

• Respect the dignity, privacy, and independence of clients in all interactions.
• Provide end-of-life comfort and palliative support when working in hospice or long-term care.

Preferred:

• Wants to grow into roles like Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide, or Care Coordinator.
• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, or 24-hour care rotations.
• Enjoys building trust and improving the quality of life for those in need of care.
• Able to assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while respecting the dignity and privacy of clients.
• Willing to accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, or social outings while ensuring safety and comfort.
