Description:

We’re looking for an Instagram Reels Editor who can take short-form content to the next level. If you're a creative thinker with an eye for editing and trends, this role is for you. You’ll be responsible for producing Reels that not only grab attention but also keep it — from the very first frame to the last. If you’re always on top of the latest Instagram trends and have a knack for translating them into original content, you’re exactly who we need. You should have a deep understanding of what works on Instagram and know how to capitalize on trending audio, effects, and challenges. Whether you’re filming on your phone or editing with your computer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring every video is engaging and perfectly timed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Help develop recurring content series that can build audience expectations and brand consistency.
• Stay in sync with content calendars, campaigns, and real-time marketing moments.
• Experiment with formats: voiceovers, behind-the-scenes, tutorial-style, quick edits, and more.
• Repurpose content from longer videos (YouTube, TikTok) into digestible Reels without losing meaning.
• Adapt videos for multi-platform use (e.g. TikTok, YouTube Shorts) while adjusting format as needed.

Preferred:

• Comfortable working with raw footage and selecting the most engaging clips.
• Currently studying media, design, communication, or a related creative field.
• Keeps a library of favorite Reels for inspiration and analysis.
• Basic understanding of copyright and using royalty-free or licensed music.
• Interested in experimenting with storytelling, transitions, and hooks.
