Description:

We’re hiring a Clinical Psychologist Trainee who’s ready to explore the therapeutic process from the inside — no previous experience required, just empathy, professionalism, and a deep interest in mental health. You’ll assist licensed psychologists with case preparation, session planning, and the daily structure of therapeutic work. We’ll teach you how to handle sensitive client data, organize psychological assessments, and recognize patterns in client behavior. You’ll learn how to document progress, track behavioral patterns, and participate in debriefs with licensed psychologists. Expect to gain exposure to common treatment methods like CBT, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. You’ll support the development of worksheets, psychoeducational content, and group materials for use in therapy. You’ll support the preparation of worksheets, feedback forms, and emotional regulation exercises used in sessions. You’ll sit in on supervised sessions (where appropriate) and participate in debriefings with the clinical team. You’ll also observe how different populations — adults, teens, children — require different therapeutic strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Help clients process trauma, navigate life transitions, and build coping strategies for daily stress.
• Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions in a safe, confidential setting.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Diagnose mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, or personality disorders.
• Be mindful of insurance, billing, and documentation for clients using healthcare plans.

Preferred:

• Values compassion, evidence-based care, and long-term client outcomes.
• Comfortable working in clinical, educational, hospital, or private practice settings.
• Understands legal responsibilities including informed consent, mandatory reporting, and HIPAA compliance.
• Understands how to evaluate mental health symptoms, personality traits, trauma history, and coping mechanisms.
• Background or specialization in clinical psychology, behavioral health, trauma therapy, or assessment.
