Description:

We’re hiring an Online Community Support specialist who knows how to make digital spaces feel alive, welcoming, and well cared for. You’ll be the steady, positive presence that keeps our digital spaces running smoothly and feeling human. You’ll moderate discussions, respond to comments, resolve member concerns, and make sure our community guidelines are followed with fairness and empathy. You’ll be the first to spot when someone needs help, jump into threads to clarify or assist, and keep the overall tone of the space positive and on-brand. But you won’t just be reacting — you’ll also be sparking engagement with polls, prompts, shoutouts, and creative ideas that help the space come alive. You’ll help organize events, post updates, create engagement prompts, and keep things running smoothly day to day.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be available for community members across time zones, adjusting schedules when needed for live events or bursts of activity.
• Collect feedback and ideas from community members and surface them internally to the product or leadership team.
• Be the bridge between the brand and its people—always human, always helpful.
• Respond to user concerns or frustrations with empathy and clarity, offering help or context where possible.
• Keep tabs on community sentiment—what people love, what annoys them, what they’re confused about.

Preferred:

• Background or strong interest in communications, psychology, digital media, or customer success.
• Organized and able to manage multiple community platforms or channels at once.
• Excellent written communication skills with a friendly and empathetic tone.
• Wants to grow into roles like Community Manager, Social Media Lead, or Customer Experience Strategist.
• Has experience working with or participating in communities built around a product, brand, or hobby.

You’ll gather community feedback and pass insights to our internal teams, helping improve our product and support offerings based on what real users are saying. Familiarity with platforms like Discord, Slack, Circle, Facebook Groups, or community tools like Discourse is a plus, but we’re more interested in your people skills and online presence than your platform resume.
