We’re hiring a Dental Assistant who brings more than just clinical skill — you bring heart, presence, and trust to every patient interaction. You’ll be the calm in the storm when someone walks in panicking about their first root canal. Before the dentist even picks up an instrument, you’ve already set the tone with kindness and care. You’ll assist the dentist with focus and flow — no awkward pauses, no dropped instruments. You’ll be the steady hand during procedures, offering instruments, suction, and a sense of calm when it’s needed most. You’ll monitor patient comfort, hand off instruments, and keep things flowing smoothly during every procedure. You’re the kind of person who wipes a counter *before* anyone notices it’s dirty. You’ll sanitize equipment like it’s second nature — because it is. You’ll enter notes accurately, update charts efficiently, and make sure nothing gets lost in translation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Provide support during emergency treatments or urgent walk-in appointments by preparing rapidly and keeping patients calm.
• Welcome patients, confirm appointment details, and help ease anxiety by creating a calm, friendly environment in the clinic.
• Ensure all HIPAA and patient privacy guidelines are followed when handling records or discussing treatment.
• Provide compassionate reassurance to nervous patients, especially children or first-time visitors.
• Be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, cleanliness, or patient experience.

Preferred:

• Background or training in dental assisting, health sciences, or a certified program.
• Maintains professionalism and compassion with every patient interaction.
• Strong interpersonal skills to help patients feel at ease before and during treatment.
• Wants to grow into roles like Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) or Office Manager.
• Enjoys working closely with a dentist and clinical team to provide excellent patient care.
