Description:

We’re hiring a Junior Frontend Developer Trainee with a focus on React and Next. You’ll start by turning static layouts into flexible, mobile-first designs that work across all screen sizes and browsers. You’ll work inside a real codebase from week one — building components, fixing layout issues, and learning the logic behind dynamic interfaces. You’ll get hands-on with responsive design, layout systems like Flexbox and Grid, and learn how to write clean, maintainable code. Expect to work with design systems, reusable components, and modern frameworks like React or Vue as you grow. We’ll show you how to implement themes, tokens, grids, and utility-first CSS like Tailwind or styled-components. Expect to touch Styled Components, Tailwind, or CSS Modules depending on the project — and understand how style and structure work together. You’ll gain hands-on experience writing clean HTML/CSS/JS, structuring components, and organizing code that’s easy to maintain and scale. You’ll also learn how to use tools like Vite, ESLint, Prettier, and how to debug like a real dev (not just refresh endlessly).

Basic Qualifications:

• Fix layout bugs, polish animations, and make sure everything looks great on all screen sizes.
• Help QA teammates and respond quickly to reported bugs or UI issues.
• Stay curious: read docs, follow dev blogs, or build side projects that keep you sharp.
• Test components visually and logically before they reach production.
• Write or update simple documentation for components or workflows as you go.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in web development, UI/UX design, or software engineering.
• Can consume RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints and render dynamic content.
• Knows basic accessibility (a11y) standards and best practices (e.g. keyboard navigation, ARIA).
• Willing to pair program, receive code reviews, and contribute to Git pull requests.
• Able to debug using browser developer tools and fix layout or console errors effectively.
