Description:

We’re looking for a YouTube Shorts Manager who’s equal parts strategist, editor, and trend-chaser. This isn’t just a video editor role — it’s a creative leadership position for someone who can take raw ideas and mold them into captivating, platform-native Shorts that perform. You’ll be in charge of brainstorming, producing, and editing Shorts that showcase our brand in a fun, creative way. YouTube Shorts is all about timing, energy, and relevance — and you’ll need to deliver all three consistently. You should know how to format content specifically for Shorts, not just repurpose long-form videos. You’ll collaborate with our creative team to brainstorm hooks, write concise scripts, and produce content that hits hard — fast. You’ll also be the one analyzing metrics, running A/B tests, and using those insights to improve each batch of content.

Basic Qualifications:

• Repurpose long-form content into Shorts, extracting highlight moments or key insights.
• Engage with comments and community feedback to inform future content direction.
• Collaborate with design and motion graphics for dynamic overlays, transitions, or CTA animations.
• Test different types of Shorts—educational, funny, visual storytelling, tips, challenges—and learn what sticks.
• Optimize each Short for search and discovery using effective titles, thumbnails, hashtags, and descriptions.

Preferred:

• Analytical mindset when reviewing Shorts metrics like CTR, audience retention, and shares.
• Wants to grow as a content strategist and build viral-ready video ideas from scratch.
• Able to identify viral potential in raw footage or brainstorm quick-hit content ideas.
• Experience creating or managing engaging short-form videos specifically for YouTube Shorts.
• Experience writing compelling titles, descriptions, and choosing strong thumbnails when needed.
