Description:

We’re looking for a Pastry Decorator who thrives in a fast-paced environment — someone who can keep quality high while handling volume with efficiency, accuracy, and pride in every detail. You’ll decorate cakes, cupcakes, and assorted desserts according to our daily production schedule and style guides. You’ll use piping bags, fondant tools, edible paints, and sculpting techniques to bring each design to life. You’ll apply consistent piping, frosting, garnishing, and finishing techniques across large batches without losing finesse. You’ll work with buttercream, ganache, fondant, chocolate, and glaze — knowing when to go bold and when to keep it simple. You’ll also prepare décor elements in advance and ensure all materials are food-safe, fresh, and visually consistent. We expect you to handle delicate components with care and stay focused even under time pressure or large order volume. You’ll monitor inventory of toppings, sprinkles, piping bags, and tools, restocking and reporting low supplies when needed. You’ll contribute to seasonal collections, new menu items, and display concepts that reflect current trends and customer tastes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Repair minor flaws or damages on baked goods quickly and cleanly when needed.
• Help train junior decorators or assistants in techniques, standards, and safe handling.
• Collaborate with bakers and kitchen staff to coordinate timing and freshness of decorated items.
• Manage decorating timelines to ensure all orders are completed on schedule and ready for pickup or service.
• Take pride in turning baked goods into edible works of art that wow customers every time.

• Thrives in creative, detail-focused environments where quality and visual appeal matter.
• Pays close attention to color harmony, symmetry, and detail in every decoration.
• Willing to assist in general bakery tasks like mixing, baking, or packaging when decoration tasks are complete.

• Capable of communicating with customers or team members to clarify design expectations.
