Description:

We’re looking for a proactive Email Marketing Assistant to join our team and assist with creating, managing, and optimizing email campaigns. You’ll be responsible for crafting email copy, designing templates, and scheduling campaigns across various email platforms. You’ll assist with creating visually appealing email templates that are consistent with the brand and optimize user experience. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to ensure that email campaigns align with the overall strategy and business goals. You’ll help build and maintain segmented email lists, targeting specific groups with personalized content to improve conversion rates. You’ll track email campaign performance, analyzing open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to improve future campaigns. You’ll help create email automation workflows to nurture leads, improve customer retention, and support marketing campaigns. You’ll work with the marketing team to align email strategies with larger business objectives, including product launches and promotions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be proactive—flag low-performing campaigns or suggest new angles even if you're not the strategist.
• Support lead generation efforts by integrating forms and pop-ups across websites or landing pages.
• Maintain subscriber lists—cleaning bounces, removing duplicates, and ensuring compliance with privacy laws like GDPR/CCPA.
• Ultimately, help the brand connect with people in a human, helpful, and high-performing way—one email at a time.
• Track campaign metrics (open rates, click-through rates, unsubscribe rates) and compile simple reports for the team.

Preferred:

• Values clear communication, thoughtful timing, and audience-centric messaging.
• Understands how to clean mailing lists, manage unsubscribes, and maintain deliverability.
• Can help repurpose blog content, product updates, or promotional materials for email.

You’ll maintain a content calendar, ensuring that all email campaigns are scheduled, optimized, and launched on time. You’ll assist in gathering and analyzing feedback from subscribers to improve email content and customer satisfaction.
