Description:

We’re hiring a Courier Trainee who’s ready to learn the ins and outs of package delivery using a company vehicle in a structured, logistics-driven environment. You’ll begin by supporting experienced couriers with loading routes, securing cargo, and checking paperwork before departure. You’ll learn how to scan parcels, verify manifests, and double-check addresses before leaving the warehouse. You’ll be trained to handle sensitive cargo like business documents, electronics, medical supplies, or legal materials. You’ll practice organizing deliveries by floor, office, or client — keeping efficiency and punctuality as top priorities. You’ll gain experience navigating busy city centers while staying calm, focused, and presentable. You’ll receive safety training related to traffic laws, secure packaging, and lifting techniques to avoid injury. You’ll represent the company with a positive attitude, offering polite greetings and reliable service at every door. You’ll learn how to handle redelivery situations, no-answer drop-offs, and minor route adjustments with professionalism.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay calm and solution-focused if problems arise during your route.
• Communicate with dispatchers or clients about changes, delays, or delivery confirmations.
• Respect customers’ property and privacy while on-site for pickups or drop-offs.
• Take pride in completing your route with accuracy, care, and a sense of responsibility.
• Use handheld devices or apps to track deliveries and update job statuses in real time.

Preferred:

• Can follow instructions from dispatchers, apps, or printed routes without getting overwhelmed.
• Background or interest in logistics, transport, courier work, or gig delivery apps.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments where speed, service, and reliability are essential.
• Comfortable following delivery protocols, including signatures, ID verification, or contactless drop-offs.
• Comfortable working independently and staying self-motivated on the road or during multiple stops.
