Description:

We’re looking for a Junior QA Tester to join our team and ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You’ll be responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring that the product works as expected before release. You’ll collaborate with developers to identify and troubleshoot issues, ensuring defects are resolved in a timely manner. You’ll collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential issues. You’ll report bugs and issues, providing detailed steps to reproduce and working with the development team to address them. You’ll track defects using bug tracking tools, maintaining accurate records of identified issues and their resolutions. You’ll test both front-end and back-end functionality, ensuring a seamless user experience across the platform. You’ll work closely with the product team to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Help maintain bug databases and categorize issues by severity, impact, and reproduction rate.
• Assist in writing simple automated tests (if you’re learning tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright).
• Be curious—ask "what happens if…" and test like a real user, not just a script.
• Participate in standups or sprint reviews, raising red flags early if something doesn’t look or feel right.
• Balance speed and detail—test thoroughly but efficiently, especially in fast-paced environments.

Preferred:

• Familiar with manual testing processes for web or mobile applications.
• Background or interest in software development, quality assurance, or tech in general.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts such as test cases, bugs, and QA cycles.
• Wants to grow into roles like QA Analyst, Test Automation Engineer, or QA Lead.
• Willing to learn about test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
