Description:
We’re looking for a Fashion Designer who sees clothing as both design and dialogue — someone who brings concept, culture, and construction together in bold, intentional ways. You’ll lead the design of collections that are visually striking, brand-relevant, and emotionally resonant. You’ll sketch original concepts and translate them into technical drawings that guide development with precision and clarity. You’ll translate ideas into sketches, fabric choices, and garment prototypes that tell stories and provoke curiosity. We expect you to work closely with pattern makers and sample developers to explore structure, movement, and technical possibilities. You’ll also work closely with the creative team to shape lookbooks, runway styling, and campaign aesthetics. You’ll oversee fittings, technical adjustments, and finish details that ensure garments are camera-ready and runway-worthy. We expect you to be hands-on with samples, agile in problem solving, and fluent in balancing creativity with feasibility. You’ll track development schedules and contribute to timelines that move designs from concept to rack.
Basic Qualifications:
- Keep digital files, sketches, and samples organized for future reference or re-use.
- Design for real people—taking into account comfort, body diversity, and day-to-day function.
- Be ready to design everything from a capsule wardrobe to a one-off runway piece.
- Participate in fittings, adjust silhouettes, and finalize cuts to achieve the perfect fit and drape.
- Deliver sketches and concepts on schedule to keep production timelines on track.
Preferred:
- Able to design across categories such as womenswear, menswear, accessories, or athleisure.
- Comfortable presenting concepts to creative directors, buyers, or marketing teams.
- Comfortable preparing tech packs, spec sheets, and production-ready documentation for manufacturers.
- Able to support fashion shows, lookbooks, or e-commerce shoots with creative styling and coordination.
- Enjoys expressing culture, identity, and emotion through wearable art.
Benefits:
- Design from your studio, our atelier, or wherever inspiration hits — even at 3am.
- Your name goes on the label — no ghost designing here.
- Moodboards, fittings, runway tests — you’re part of every step.
- Work with stylists, photographers, and models who respect the craft.
- Weekly style check-ins — fabrics, trends, vibes, inspirations.
You’ll also collaborate with merchandisers, stylists, and marketers to shape how collections are presented and perceived. You’ll attend fittings, revise mockups, and adjust scale or tension until the garment *feels* right — not just looks right. We value designers who push boundaries, think critically, and understand both trend relevance and timelessness. This role is ideal for a fashion thinker: someone who designs with purpose and isn’t afraid of the abstract or avant-garde. You’ll help define visual language, silhouette codes, and emotional tone for the brand each season. You’ll join a team that believes fashion should be built with purpose, not just aesthetic. If you believe a well-designed garment can shift a person’s energy — we’d love to see how you design. Let’s design pieces that aren’t just worn — but remembered.
