Everblue Cleaning Corp.
2 885 AUD per month
Description:
We’re hiring a Junior Frontend Developer Trainee who’s excited about building clean, responsive, and accessible web interfaces — no experience required, just solid HTML/CSS skills and a willingness to grow. js — no job experience needed, just working knowledge of JS and a passion for clean UI. We’ll teach you how to structure semantic HTML, write scalable CSS, and use media queries with intention and clarity. You’ll get hands-on with responsive design, layout systems like Flexbox and Grid, and learn how to write clean, maintainable code. Expect to work with design systems, reusable components, and modern frameworks like React or Vue as you grow. We’ll show you how to implement themes, tokens, grids, and utility-first CSS like Tailwind or styled-components. Expect to touch Styled Components, Tailwind, or CSS Modules depending on the project — and understand how style and structure work together. We’ll help you read Figma files, match spacing, use rem units, and make everything responsive across viewports. You’ll also learn how to use tools like Vite, ESLint, Prettier, and how to debug like a real dev (not just refresh endlessly).
Basic Qualifications:
- Participate in sprint planning, retros, and design reviews when invited.
- Write or update simple documentation for components or workflows as you go.
- Tackle small features or tickets first, then grow into larger pieces of the app.
- Stay curious: read docs, follow dev blogs, or build side projects that keep you sharp.
- Test your code before shipping: click through it, try to break it, then fix it.
Preferred:
- Pays attention to performance optimization, lazy loading, and image handling in web apps.
- Understands the importance of mobile-first design and visual consistency across screen sizes.
- Open to writing simple animations, transitions, or micro-interactions for better UX.
- Background or interest in web development, UI/UX design, or software engineering.
- Enjoys building intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that solve real problems.
Benefits:
- We care about accessibility, performance, and clean code — and teach it too.
- MacBook or dev rig of your choice, plus your favorite IDE setup covered.
- Safe space to ask “dumb” questions — because that’s how everyone starts.
- You won’t be “the junior,” you’ll be part of the team from day one.
- Code reviews that teach, not humiliate — we’re here to build, not gatekeep.
We’ll guide you through Next. You’ll participate in design-dev reviews, help identify design inconsistencies early, and build strong visual instincts over time. You’ll understand how performance, accessibility, and SEO all tie into how we write even the smallest component. You’ll learn how to blend motion with purpose — not just to impress, but to improve user understanding and engagement. No resume full of jobs? You don’t need prior job experience — just a GitHub with side projects, Codepens, or even a personal site is a great start. This isn’t a fake internship — your code will go live, and your commits will matter. By the end, you’ll have shipped real features, survived production bugs, and gained the habits of a working dev. If you’re ready to learn the real-world skills that make great frontend developers — we’re ready to train you from day one.
