Description:

We’re hiring a Kindergarten Teacher Trainee to support children with special needs — no prior experience required, just a big heart and a willingness to learn. You’ll start by supporting lead teachers in creating a safe, joyful, and structured environment where young minds can thrive. In this role, you’ll show boys and girls alike that care, respect, and gentleness are qualities anyone can lead with. You’ll learn how to lead songs, read aloud with energy, organize play-based activities, and support early learning. Each day, you’ll help little ones develop social skills, build confidence, and explore the world with curiosity. Expect slow progress some days — and the deepest joy when a child makes eye contact, speaks a new word, or joins a group activity for the first time. We’ll show you how to gently guide behavior, create safe boundaries, and encourage independence at a child’s pace. You’ll learn how to guide behavior respectfully — with a calm voice, clear boundaries, and consistency. We’ll teach you how to recognize developmental milestones and when to simply give space for natural growth.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ensure all activities meet health, safety, and learning standards.
  • Adapt lessons to fit different learning styles and attention spans.
  • Plan themed units and activities around seasons, holidays, or curiosity topics.
  • Create a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel safe, seen, and curious.
  • Host class events like performances, reading days, or family picnics to build community.

Preferred:

  • Knows how to create learning environments that are both educational and emotionally supportive.
  • Wants to grow into roles like Head Teacher, Preschool Director, or Curriculum Developer.
  • Background or formal education in early childhood education, child psychology, or pedagogy.
  • Able to create structured lesson plans that include storytelling, play, music, and hands-on activities.
  • Familiar with age-appropriate teaching methods that support emotional, social, and cognitive development.
