We’re hiring a Freelance Blog Writer who can take a brief and turn it into something people actually *want* to read. You’re someone who can take a topic (even a boring one) and turn it into something engaging, useful, and maybe even a little fun. From SEO-optimized articles to in-depth editorial pieces, you can shift tones, adapt styles, and still maintain a clear, engaging voice throughout. In this role, you’ll pitch, research, and write blog posts that inform, entertain, and drive traffic — whether it's thought leadership, product tutorials, SEO-driven how-tos, or industry roundups. You’re comfortable working with content briefs — but also confident enough to pitch your own angles and fresh takes. You’re used to working remotely and independently, managing deadlines with ease and communicating clearly when you need support or direction. You’ll be responsible for turning in clean, SEO-friendly copy on deadline, with internal links, smart formatting, and a strong sense of flow.

Basic Qualifications:

• Write headlines that are both SEO-friendly and clickable without resorting to clickbait.
• Keep an organized archive of drafts, revisions, and published links for easy reference.
• Manage multiple assignments at once and communicate proactively if delays or blockers arise.
• Pitch fresh article ideas regularly based on trends, SEO opportunities, or gaps in existing content.
• Work with content managers to align on goals, outlines, and formatting preferences before writing begins.

Preferred:

• Can write blog posts ranging from 600 to 2,000+ words depending on project needs.
• Interested in content marketing and how blog posts support brand visibility.
• Aware of plagiarism concerns and committed to original, high-quality writing.
• Experience using writing tools like Grammarly, Hemingway, or Notion.
• Can research unfamiliar topics and write confidently based on trusted sources.
