Description:
We’re on the hunt for a Newsletter Copywriter who doesn’t just write emails — you craft experiences that start in the inbox and stick in the reader’s mind. You’ll be responsible for crafting engaging, brand-aligned newsletters that not only get opened but actually get read. Whether it’s a product update, weekly digest, campaign launch, or just a casual check-in, you know how to strike the right tone and guide the reader from line one to CTA. You’ll work with our team to build content calendars, align emails with launches and campaigns, and make sure every message supports our larger brand narrative. You’ll work closely with marketing, content, and design to make sure every send supports larger campaign goals while delivering value in its own right. You write with empathy, edit with intention, and keep your language human — no corporate jargon, no fluff.
Basic Qualifications:
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align newsletter content with campaigns, launches, or seasonal moments.
- Use storytelling techniques to make even mundane updates feel human, clear, and worth sharing.
- Test A/B variations of headlines, CTAs, and content blocks to continuously improve performance.
- Handle feedback gracefully—adjust tone, messaging, or structure based on reader engagement or team input.
- Write with mobile readers in mind—short paragraphs, scannable structure, and clear calls to action.
Preferred:
- Enjoys storytelling and knows how to blend value with subtle persuasion.
- Organized with deadlines and capable of managing multiple email drafts at once.
- Enjoys brainstorming hooks, angles, and content ideas based on audience behavior.
- Can structure emails for readability with clear headers, CTAs, and scannable formatting.
- Understands tone, voice, and how to adapt messaging to different audiences.
Benefits:
- Creative freedom to test hooks, stories, and weird-but-clickable subject lines.
- You’ll help shape the voice of the brand, not just echo it.
- Try bold formats — interviews, GIFs, spicy CTAs — we love a good experiment.
- No “just write it longer” nonsense — we respect brevity and punch.
- You’ll collaborate with design and marketing — but your copy leads the way.
You’ll help plan content calendars, A/B test copy, and use performance data to improve future campaigns. when to go deep. You’re organized, deadline-driven, and bring a sharp editorial eye to every campaign — whether it’s a one-off send or part of a drip series. Experience with email platforms like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or BeeFree is a plus, but what really matters is that you know how to write emails people *look forward to*. If you’re the kind of writer who can make people *look forward* to an email — not just tolerate it — we want to work with you. Let’s make email exciting again.
