Description:

We’re offering a Sales Assistant Internship for someone who’s ready to learn by doing — someone curious, reliable, and eager to see how retail works from the inside out. You’ll assist with customer interactions, learning how to greet, guide, and support shoppers with professionalism and care. You’ll be trained on using point-of-sale systems, processing payments, and handling refunds with care and professionalism. You’ll shadow experienced team members to learn how to handle payments, answer product questions, and resolve simple issues. You’ll gradually take on more customer-facing duties as your confidence and product knowledge grow. You’ll assist with promotional signage, seasonal setups, and backroom prep to keep the store running smoothly. You’ll learn how to stay focused, calm, and helpful — even during peak hours or busy weekends. You’ll work under supervision, but you’ll also have opportunities to take initiative and suggest small improvements. You’ll learn how to multitask, from folding clothes or tagging items to helping at the counter when the line grows.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be adaptable—every customer, shift, and day is different.
• Take initiative to help customers, even if it’s not in your immediate area.
• Restock shelves, manage inventory, and ensure all items are properly labeled and priced.
• Stay informed on product knowledge, seasonal trends, and current promotions.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily sales goals and store targets.

Preferred:

• Willing to follow store security procedures and assist with loss prevention efforts.
• Thrives in fast-paced, people-focused environments with a positive team spirit.
• Understands how to meet daily or weekly sales targets and contribute to store goals.
• Open to upselling, cross-selling, and promoting new arrivals or featured products.
• Can handle customer complaints or returns with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.
