Description:

We’re looking for an Instagram Reels Editor who can take short-form content to the next level. This isn’t just about editing — it’s about understanding what makes Reels work and crafting videos that resonate with Instagram users. You’ll be filming, editing, and producing short-form videos that stop people from scrolling. You’ll be working with everything from raw footage to brand new ideas, transforming them into dynamic, fun, and shareable videos. We’re looking for someone who can take raw footage and turn it into something captivating, all while making sure it aligns with Instagram’s fast-paced environment. This is a fast-paced role where you’ll be expected to produce high-quality, engaging content quickly while staying on top of the latest trends.

Basic Qualifications:

• Repurpose content from longer videos (YouTube, TikTok) into digestible Reels without losing meaning.
• Track Reels performance and report weekly insights to improve future edits.
• Cut down raw footage into engaging 15–60 second clips that hook viewers fast.
• Coordinate posting schedules with the social team to hit peak engagement windows.
• Edit multiple drafts if needed, quickly iterating based on feedback from stakeholders.

Preferred:

• Follows popular creators and keeps up with what’s performing well on Reels.
• Proficient in using mobile or desktop editing tools like CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Enjoys fast-paced creative challenges and adapting to new trends quickly.
• Keeps a library of favorite Reels for inspiration and analysis.
• Experience editing for brands, influencers, or personal creative projects.
