Description:

We’re hiring an Architect Trainee who’s ready to learn how ideas become blueprints and blueprints become buildings — no experience needed, just a strong eye for design and willingness to grow. You’ll assist in creating floor plans, massing studies, and digital models that support early design exploration. We’ll teach you how to think in both 2D and 3D, and how to turn spatial concepts into practical, buildable designs. You’ll work closely with senior architects to understand how every line on a plan has meaning, function, and consequence. Expect to work with design tools like Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop — we’ll support your learning every step of the way. You’ll learn how to analyze site constraints, zoning codes, and client needs to inform better design decisions. We’ll teach you how to use architecture software like Revit, Enscape, and Illustrator to communicate your vision. You’ll participate in internal reviews, giving and receiving feedback to sharpen your creative instincts. You’ll also sit in on client consultations to understand how architects balance vision, budget, and regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Balance beauty and practicality—your designs should inspire, but also get built.
• Sketch freely when ideas are raw—think napkin, not always blueprint.
• Translate client needs into sketches, plans, and moodboards that reflect their vision and budget.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants for seamless integration.
• Adapt plans when unexpected challenges arise—soil issues, zoning limits, or client changes.

Preferred:

• Licensed or on track for architectural certification, with strong knowledge of design principles and building codes.
• Understands how to balance aesthetics, functionality, and client requirements within budget constraints.
• Knows how to prepare and revise technical documentation to comply with regulations and stakeholder feedback.
• Willing to lead or contribute to design reviews, client meetings, and project coordination sessions.
• Experience developing concept designs, construction drawings, and detailed architectural documentation.
