Description:

We’re hiring a Loader Trainee for our night shift — perfect for someone who prefers quiet, steady work and wants to support warehouse flow while the city sleeps. You’ll begin by helping move boxes, pallets, and goods from delivery trucks into storage zones, always following safety procedures. You’ll be taught how to lift and carry heavy items safely, using proper posture and teamwork for awkward or oversized loads. You’ll help move materials across the site to where they’re needed — sometimes on foot, sometimes with wheelbarrows or dollies. You’ll be trained to use pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment needed to move bulky or heavy items safely. You’ll learn how to follow FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation, helping prevent food waste and inventory loss. You’ll learn how to wrap pallets, stack boxes properly, and secure loads so they travel safely during transport. You’ll be taught how to use pallet jacks, floor scales, and scanners to manage goods quickly and accurately. You’ll clean and sanitize loading areas regularly to meet hygiene and food safety standards.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow instructions from supervisors clearly and ask when something is unclear.
• Report damaged goods, missing items, or shipment discrepancies immediately.
• Maintain a positive, dependable attitude—others count on your speed and accuracy.
• Be physically prepared for repetitive tasks, lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Communicate with drivers, supervisors, or warehouse staff to coordinate loading activities.

• Able to help set up staging areas, maintain clear aisles, and support cleanup after loading tasks.
