We’re looking for a YouTube Shorts Manager who’s equal parts strategist, editor, and trend-chaser. This isn’t just a video editor role — it’s a creative leadership position for someone who can take raw ideas and mold them into captivating, platform-native Shorts that perform. In this role, you’ll lead the charge on all things Shorts — from planning and scripting to editing and optimizing. If you’ve got a knack for spotting trends early, remixing viral ideas, and turning raw footage into scroll-stopping videos, we want you. Whether you're repurposing long-form content or crafting original Shorts from scratch, your job is to make it addictive, shareable, and on-brand. Whether you’re chopping up long-form content into snackable bites or producing original concepts, you’ll need to do it quickly, creatively, and with a deep understanding of what performs well in vertical video. Speed is key — YouTube Shorts thrive on trends, and we need someone who can jump on them quickly without compromising on creativity.

Basic Qualifications:

• Quickly react to real-time events, trends, or memes that can spark viral Shorts opportunities.
• Collaborate with growth marketers to align Shorts with campaigns and channel growth goals.
• Coordinate with creators, editors, and voiceover talent to assemble compelling short-form videos.
• Coordinate cross-posting strategies across platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Engage with comments and community feedback to inform future content direction.

Preferred:

• Experience creating or managing engaging short-form videos specifically for YouTube Shorts.
• Experience writing compelling titles, descriptions, and choosing strong thumbnails when needed.
• Currently studying media, film, marketing, or digital communication.
• Follows successful Shorts creators to stay on top of trends, challenges, and pacing techniques.
• Comfortable editing videos for vertical format using tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
