Description:

We’re hiring a Manicurist Trainee to assist in a luxury nail salon — ideal for someone who values elegance, discretion, and delivering a flawless client experience. You’ll begin by learning how to pack and transport a compact manicure kit with everything needed for clean, effective service on the go. You’ll assist in greeting VIP clients, offering refreshments, and helping them feel relaxed and welcomed from the first moment. You’ll be trained in efficient workflows for manicures, pedicures, and express services that respect the client’s time and space. You’ll support pedicure services by preparing foot baths, exfoliating heels, and moisturizing skin using salon protocols. You’ll assist in preparing herbal soaks, warm oil wraps, and hand massages that restore rather than strip the skin. You’ll be introduced to gel, shellac, and dip powder systems and how to safely prep and cure each type. You’ll observe how to work with small brushes, dotting tools, and magnets to create high-impact looks. You’ll help educate clients on aftercare, nail nutrition, and how to maintain healthy hands between visits.

Preferred:

• Comfortable performing spa-level treatments including exfoliation, massage, or paraffin wax as needed.
• Open to receiving feedback and continuously improving technique through workshops or certification upgrades.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to make clients feel welcome and at ease.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a salon, spa, or beauty studio.
• Organized in managing client appointments, product inventory, and personal workstations.
